Microsoft has publicly stated that most, if not all, store-bought features and add-ons should migrate seamlessly.In fact, users were warned that if they tried to use ANY v11 content it would be the fast boat to disaster. Not aircraft, not scenery, no purchased airports or 3rd party content would migrate. It was known from day one that NOTHING from v11 would transfer over to v12. Finely crafted controller settings and tweaks were all gone, and everything had to be redone, virtually from square-one, and many people have yet to get things back to normal. When X-Plane went from version 11 to version 12, most everything did NOT transfer cleanly.I expect that there will be some design changes and there will be a bit of a learning curve, as there was with 2020.I do NOT expect that major photogrammetric issues, (like Canada), to be resolved on day one.I expect that at least 90% of 2024 to work the same way as 2020.(This being based on several decades in the software development and QA fields.) In all seriousness, this is my expectation for the upgrade to 2024:
